The coconut is the fruit of the coconut palm scientifically known as “Cocos nucifera” tree. It contains the edible pulp that is a popular food & is used to make creamy white milk. The sweet water liquid in the center of the coconut is known as coconut water.

Buying tips
Good Quality Coconuts are to be without cracks & said to contain firm mold free “eyes”. Unopened fresh coconuts should be kept in room temptation for 3 months.
Fresh coconut pulp can be kept refrigerated for a week.

Availability
All round the year fresh coconut is available each fruit weight 1 to 2.5 kgs.
The kernel of the coconut is hollow & 95% is full of clear coconut milk (liquid endosperm) coconuts are transported with the two outer most layers removed

Oil Content – 30, 40 %

Coconuts of 6 to 7 month old are solid to contain more milk. As ripening continues to form white kernel. 90 % coconuts have a storage life of up to 2 months. And the storage temp 2 C to 5’C

Coconuts are packed, in 50 Kg Jude poly sack bags. Counting of nuts per bag varies from 60-100 nuts
